Daniel Voth is a super nice guy who’s always gone out of his way to say hello to me at events. He’s also a major contributor in the Winnipeg gaming scene. He’s a project manager at Bit Space Development, administrator of IGDA Winnipeg, and co-coordinator of Winnipeg Game Jam.
After talking about how Daniel got to be so involved in the gaming community, we get deep into perception and language and relationships in games, and we answer the question: Can Daniel walk on his hands?
This week’s guest is our dear (returning) friend Albertine Watson. She’s moved on from the PR side of the gaming industry and is now a developer. She’ll also be speaking at the upcoming Pegjam in Winnipeg. This is a particularly good episode for any new or aspiring devs.
Another Winnipeg Game Jam is just around the corner, and Dear Friend Dylan Fries comes by to talk about it. We get into the philosophy and purpose of game jams, and what’s happening with the Winnitron.
