Last month, a way-cool (WAY! COOL!) video games music festival took place over Twitch, with performances, panels, and a near 40-minute ode to Paper Mario: The Origami King featuring more than 170 musicians!! The whole thing was planned and executed in about four months – WHAT?! This week we’ve got VGMTogether co-directors Nujj and Doug Perry, and Line Them Up project director Laura Intravia, on to look back at the event, tell us how they pulled it off, if and when we can expect another, and how it felt to bring people together at a time when no one can physically get together.
